Bob Waldmire Documentary

Mark Silverstein is currently working on a documentary about Bob. He’s made a few visits to Illinois to meet with friends and family. The Springfield (IL) State Journal Register did a story on Mark’s documentary recently. We’re excited to see how it turns out!

    Bob came to my smog shop in Rialto (near the Wigwam Motel). In addition to giving me some art work, we jammed. I played guitar and he played flute on ‘Going Up the Country’ and ‘Locomotoive Breath’. I’ll never forget that.

    I met Bob in 1978. I was a crew member serving with Jeff Waldmire on the USS Scamp (SSN 588). His drawings were recently posted to the Scamp page on Facebook. Where is Jeff?
